Sarov We live in a small town called Sarov. It is a «closed» town because there is a nuclear centre in Sarov. And there is a nuclear weapons museum here. It is a very interesting museum.

RDS – 1 In this museum there are a lot of bombs and they are very big. And there is one the most interesting bomb. It is RDS – 1. This bomb isnt very big but it can destroy a whole city. RDS – 1 was the first Soviet nuclear bomb.

«Fat Man» We know there is a museum like ours in the USA. National Museum of Nuclear Science and History in Albuquerque, New Mexico. In this museum there is a bomb called «Fat Man». It is like RDS – 1. The «Fat Man» was detonated over Nagasaki, Japan on August 9, 1945.
