What are pros & cons ? A project by Arseniy Lopukhin

Some people think that technology will save the word and make it better, some other think that technology will ruin the society because we are too dependent on electronic gadgets and machines.

The aim of the project: to study and to investigate the role of a mobile phone and a computer in our life.

the theoretical researches ( an analysis, a generalization), the empirical method ( an observation, a questioning), the statistical method ( the statistical analysis of the materials of our research).

I cant imagine my life without my computer. I couldnt live without my phone.

People use a computer like a typewriter, they can go on the Internet and discover everything about anything. They can write programs and play games. A computer is a brilliant source of information.

A mobile phone or cell(ular) phone is an electronic telecommunication device. Most current mobile phones connect to the network using a wireless radio wave transmission technology (the exception are satellite phones). These mobile phones communicate via a cellular network of base stations (cell sites), which is in turn linked to the conventional telephone network and were first introduced in the early to mid 1980s (the 1G generation).

There is a big influence of technique on our daily life. Electronic devices, multimedia and computers are things we have to deal with everyday. Especially the Internet is becoming more and more important for nearly everybody as it is one of the newest and most forward-looking media and surely the medium of the future.

Personal computers are the most powerful and versatile of the word processing machines. They can be programmed to do many things besides word processing. Computers can transfer information to other computers linked in a network or, using a device called a modem, send information over telephone lines. Personal computers and dedicated word processors display characters on a computer screen as the user types them. Words, lines, paragraphs, and pages can be added, deleted, moved, or copied with a few keystrokes or the click of a button on a handheld control called a mouse.

It's a great invention. What could our live be without a computer? But of course, where are romantic people? They're playing online games, chatting in ICQ, forums. But you know, I really miss old times, when a rare letter was so pleasant to be received! And now - everybody are at home, Internet influence them greatly.But nobody wants to dream, to write stories or novels... We all are catched in a large net. It looks like freedom, but it's a prison, though very nice to be in. So that's why let's concentrate on our life! Forget about your characters in LA 2, forums, just have some sport exercises, walks, dates. The world around us is full of wonders...

Some people think that a mobile phone it is more trouble than it`s worth. Mobiles are dangerous for health. The rays may cause headaches and even more dangerous diseases.

Therefore we thought that it would be necessary to think about some good and bad aspects about computers and how they influences us, what impacts they have on our social behaviour and what the future will look like in the evolution of computers. We hope you find the computer information you find here to be helpful.
