1) зниження теплової потужності нижче від допустимого значення (наслідок: реактор став важкокерованим); 2) відключення від реактора частини циркуляційних насосів (наслідок: температура теплоносія стала вищою від критичної); 3) блокування захисту реактора за сигналом зупинки двох турбогенераторів (наслідок: втрата можливості автоматичної зупинки реактора); 4) блокування захисту за рівнем води та тиском пари у барабані – сепараторі (наслідок: захист реактора за тепловими параметрами повністю відключений); 5) відключення систем аварійного охолодження реактора (наслідок: втрата можливості зниження масштабів аварії).
