Liverpool is a famous English city. It has a lot of sights and attractive for the tourists.

Two famous football teams Liverpool and Everton, playing in the English Premier League are based in Liverpool.

In 1912 the British shipyards Harland and Wolf were launched by Titanic, attributed to Liverpool.

The legendary British group was formed in 1960 in Liverpool and disbanded in 1970 (without changing the staff of the group).

The creator of the group is John Lennon. The original name of this group is "The Blackjacks, but a week later the group was renamed "The Quarrymen".

There were four members of the group : John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr, George Harrison.

John Winston Ono Lennon John Winston Ono Lennon was born in October 1940 in Liverpool. Known as a guitarist and a singer of The Beatles. John Lennon was murdered by the U.S. citizen Mark Chapman in 1980.

George Harrison Born in February 1943 in Liverpool. Known as a master guitarist of The Beatles. Harrison took the 21 place in the list of "100 greatest guitarists of all time" in He is 58 years.
