Training the Force Through Simulations 2 Exercise Objective To exercise the staff of the Engineer Sapper Battalion in the conduct of mobility, countermobility, and survivability operations as a component of a multi-national division deployed to Kosovo for peace support operations conducted in accordance with United Nations Security Council resolutions.

Training the Force Through Simulations 1. Conduct a tactical road march from Pristina Airfield to the AOR. 2. Perform area demining, IED clearance, and UXO disposal in accordance with 12 th Engineer Standard Operating Procedures. 3. Use sound military decision making in response to orders and directives, including the formulation of valid courses of action and the analysis required to make command decisions in a timely manner. 4. Emplace non-explosive obstacles and conduct engineer recce of roads and route clearance in accordance with orders and 12 th Engineer Standard Operating Procedures. 5. Ensure all units observe NATO standards in execution of duties, to include following the Rules of Engagement and calling for MEDEVAC. 3 Unit Training Objectives
