Lady Gaga (the real name Stephanie Joanne Angelina Dzhermanotta), was born on March 28, 1986 in a family of the Italian emigrants who moved to New York. The girl had a love to music in blood as her father worked in clubs on the coast of the Atlantic for a long time. At the age of 4 Stephanie was already able to play a piano and with pleasure recorded well known hits of that time on the cassette tape recorder.

After graduation from school, the girl was admitted to the art school (Tisch School of the Arts). At 14 she sang in Bitter End club and played in theatrical performances. A bit later the girl began to appear on the stage with various groups and independently. The New York downtown became her new environment. Ms. Dzhermanotta tried to draw attention to herself in every way, shocking public: performance with transvestites, the part in bikini, and many other things.

Stephanie worked on the image and soon received a pseudonym from the first producer, Rob Fyyuzari. Rob called her Lady GaGa by analogy to the hit of Queen Radio Gaga. Too often Stephanie used similar gestures and poses with the grimaces, reminding immortal Freddie Mercury.

She signed her first full contract as Lady Gaga in However already at the beginning of 2008 she signed other contract as the author of songs which were sung subsequently by Britney Spears, Pussycat Dolls, Fergie, etc.

Her first official work was as go- go-dancer and a waitress.
