Read the texts. 1. Stonehenge is a Bronze Age monument from about 2000 BC. The Standing stones came from Wales – over 320 kms away! They stand up to seven metres high in a circle. About 90 metres away from the circle there is another stone and on midsummers day the sun rises exactly over it. But why did the ancient Britons build Stonehenge?

2. The Houses of Parliament are in Westminster in London. 3. Edinburgh is famous for its castles. Every castle has its ghost. It is the land of myths and mysteries. Everyone knows about the Loch Ness Monster. Nessie is said to be about six meters long, with a long, thin neck. The first report of the monster in Loch Ness was in 565 A.D. Scientists have investigated the Loch and taken pictures but no scientific explanation of the mystery has been given. Edinburgh Castle
