Oil-gas production and chemistry Specialists preparation and carrying out of scientific researches are organized by 7 PhD 8 candidates of science Education-scientific laboratories Laboratory of pipeline transport. The basic directions of scientific research at the Far Eastern Federal University are: Substantiation and development of theoretical and practical bases of technology of living systems - stability for quality and safety of biological products on the basis of marine hydrobionts, dikoros and renewed raw materials; Development of technologies and the release of test batches of biologically active substances from marine organisms as the basics of new medicines and food additives for correcting oxidation and immune system statuses as well as lipid and carbohydrate exchanges; Technologies of products with prolonged storage periods and functional directivity on the basis of nonfish hydrobionts obtained from the Far-Eastern seas. These hydriobionts protect man from the harmful effects of ionized emissions; Creation of competition in domestic and foreign markets for technologies and the organization of producing safe and functional meat products, already-prepared products for childrens nourishment, and delicatessen products of premium class which correspond to world standards and have high commercial potential;

Experimental and theoretical substantiation of complex processing of Far-Eastern marine hydrobionts for obtaining biological products of functional directivity; Perfection of technologies of new forms of food products from plant and animal raw materials from the Far-Eastern region and on the basis of recyclable technologies; Development of food products for use in technologies of metabolic engineering; Development of an assortment of food products with increased food and biological values, functional designation based on advanced ecologically safe technologies and the estimation of their quality; Development of technologies for obtaining high-quality agricultural raw materials for producing specialized functional food products with improved consumer, therapeutic and prophylactic properties; Determination of the level of antipyretic tsitokinov FNO-α, interleukins IL12 (r70) and its subtype R40 under the conditions of aggragated chronic obstructive lung diseases. FEFU International - In 2013 will create APEC Network University - a complex of agreements between several universities on unification of certain academic programs in different areas of study. Such unification envisages mutual recognition of credits by universities and their preparedness to award academic degrees based on the agreed minimum of credits issued by any given university.
