Проект Tempus UK-JPCR «Улучшение учебных программ Биотехнология (фармацевтический инжениринг)» Plans for launching the new MSc course Moscow Work ongoing. Aim to complete documentation by the end of Jun so a case can be made for the launch of the new Pharmaceutical MSc programme this Autumn St Petersburg 13 new MSc courses approved. Modules now being developed will be used on some of these courses starting in this Autumn. Krasnodar MSc courses cannot be offered at the moment. The option of delivering a course with St Petersburg is being considered, but may not happen this Autumn. Material from the modules now being developed will be used on existing programmes.

Проект Tempus UK-JPCR «Улучшение учебных программ Биотехнология (фармацевтический инжениринг)» Programme Advisory Panel (PAP) Overview -PAP comprises academics and industrialists (including professional bodies) working in the sector, to support the development of ongoing and new courses Thoughts at meetings about PAP for Russian partners -Liaison between the three Russian partners will be beneficial -Each institute should have its own PAP, and use it: -To provide input on a range of similar courses -As a marketing tool. Terms of Reference (ToR) for a PAP An example of ToR for Manufacturing courses in the Manufacturing Department at Cranfield are on the next two slides

Проект Tempus UK-JPCR «Улучшение учебных программ Биотехнология (фармацевтический инжениринг)» Programme Advisory Panels Generic Terms of Reference 1 of 2 1.The Panel to propose policy and strategy for programme development, within the context of the Departmental growth and Goals and to provide feedback on any proposed changes to the structure, content and titles of the relevant programme(s). 2.The Panel to propose ideas for new courses and/or programmes and changes to the structure, content and titles of the existing programmes and for future markets. 3.The Panel to advise on recruitment and marketing activities of the courses 4.The Panel to receive and comment on presentations and reports on research projects associated with the programmes. 5.The Panel to get involved with the External Examiners in order to receive feedback.

Проект Tempus UK-JPCR «Улучшение учебных программ Биотехнология (фармацевтический инжениринг)» Programme Advisory Panels Generic Terms of Reference – 2 of 2 6.The panel should typically meet twice per year and will be invited to all public presentations based on the student project work. 7.Members will be appointed for a fixed term of 3 years with a possibility of extension afterwards. 8.A list of the members will be added to the programme website with their background information, and will be invited to be appointed a visiting Fellow for the duration of their involvement. 9.Provide a gateway for Panel members to become involved in teaching, student projects and student feedback. 10 The Panel will be chaired by an external member.
