By specifying an alternate configuration it is possible to use fixed network parameters when no DHCP server is available. This is very convenient when connecting a reader directly to the PC! On the Start menu, click Control Panel. Click Network and Internet Connections. Click Network Connections. Right-click the local area network (LAN) or high-speed Internet connection that you want to configure and click Properties. Click Internet Protocol (TCP/IP) and click Properties. При закладке проводки большой длины следует использовать экранированные кабели. На одном конце, желательно на стороне контроллера, экран кабеля должен быть заземлен. Никогда не следует использовать экран соединительного кабеля для заземления силового. Для силовых и соединительных линий длиной от 10 до 100 м рекомендуется использовать экранированные кабели AWG Выбор диаметра и длины кабеля производится таким образом, чтобы исключить излишние потери напряжения при фактической токовой нагрузке. На одном конце, желательно на стороне контроллера, экран кабеля должен быть заземлен. При прокладке соединительных проводов немало внимания следует уделить тому, чтобы они находились на достаточном расстоянии от источников питания и/или не проходили в одном коробе с силовыми кабелями.
