The beginning April 18, 1983 in Los Angeles (USA, California) a new channel – Disney began broadcasting! During the first nine years only cartoons were showing. In 2002, Disney Channel began showing movies and reality shows. In 2006, the channel has experienced changes. Famous series as "Hannah Montana" and others appeared. In Russia Disney Channel has replaced channel Jetix.
