Определения Disaster Risk Data Platform is программные средства позволяющие визуализировать, загружать или извлекать данные об опасных событиях, человеческих и экономических воздействиях опасностей и рисков от стихийных бедствий. Пользователи могут создавать карты пользуясь всеми доступными данными как Платформы так и любого доступного ресурса всемирной сети. Все действия пользователей производятся через Веб-доступ. Загружаемые интегрированные данные, метаданные и карты приводятся в единый международный стандарт и могут быть общедоступными или ограниченного доступа, согласно заданной политике разрешений.
