Past Progressive

Описывает события и действия, происходившие в прошлом в точно указанный момент. Такие действия, как правило, продолжительны и наглядны. Ключевые слова: at that moment in the past (в тот момент времени в прошлом).

Момент времени в прошлом может быть выражен: а) точным указанием времени, когда происходило действие: Linda was watching TV at 10 o'clock yesterday. – Линда смотрела телевизор вчера в десять вечера. Linda was watching TV at 10 o'clock Now Past Progressive Past Simple Past Progressive
