FORM 5 ( MONOLOGUE)

Imagine that you have grown up and your son or daughter is going to school in the fifth form. Tomorrow it will be the first of September. Tell him or her about your first of September. Give a talk

Warm up 1. Do you like to go school? Why/ why not? 2. Do you miss (скучаешь) your school when you are on holidays? Why/ why not?

You will talk for 1 – 1.5 minutes. The examiner will listen until you have finished. Then she/he will ask you some questions. Recommendations

Remember to discuss: 1. How did your first of September begin? 2. What did you feel when you went to school? Why? 3. Did you go to school with your parents or without them? Why? 4. What did you do at school on the first of September? 5. How did your day finish?

Result Many years ago on the first of September I was going to school in the fifth form too. My day began early. I got up at 7 oclock. Then I washed my face, had breakfast, took flowers and went to school. I was very nervous. Fortunately, I went to school with my parents who made a video of our meeting. It was the holiday for them too because I became older. I was happy that I met my old friends and gave flowers to my teacher. That day we had four lessons. During them we sat still, answered our teachers questions and got only good marks. Most of all at school I liked English. At that lesson we learned a lot of new words, played games and sang English songs. During the break we drew funny pictures on the blackboard and ran between the desks. After lessons we discussed our summer holidays. Then we all went back home. I was very tired. So I went to bed early. It was the best day in my life Number of words: 171 Time: 1 min
