18 Automatic Transmission TCM adaptation When? - Automatic transmission assy or the TCM are replaced. - TCM software is overwritten (reprogramming), Condition ATF temperature must be 60 ~ 115. Adaptation for gear shift control 1) D range, TPS 25 ~35%. 2) Drive with 1 st to 6 th gear and more than 80Kph. 3) Release accelerator and stop the vehicle without repressing the brake. (The vehicle to a stop slowly within 60 seconds) 4) Repeat 10 times
