© 2006 Cisco Systems, Inc. All rights reserved. ICND v Summary EIGRP is an interior gateway protocol that scales well and provides quick convergence times with minimal network traffic. EIGRP is an enhanced version of IGRP developed by Cisco, with improved convergence properties and operating efficiency over IGRP. The router eigrp and network commands can be used to create an EIGRP routing process. The show ip eigrp commands can be used to verify the EIGRP configuration. The debug ip eigrp privileged EXEC command can be used to display information on EIGRP packets.
