The core is to be represented as a lamina ply without any fiber orientation (painted draping). The backing of the core is to be represented as lamina plies with fiber orientation in either 0, 45, 90, or –45 degrees. An analysis with MSC.Nastran is to be performed, and stresses and displacements observed.
