The cycle rickshaw is a small-scale local means of transport; it is also known by a variety of other names such as bike taxi, velotaxi, pedicab. It is actually a sophisticated form of a rickshaw. The pedicab is basically a lightweight tricycle that can carry up to three passengers an is powered by the driver- a fit young cyclist!
