When a person is born first of all he gets to know the world with his mother and father. Then he goes to the kindergarten and just after these steps he goes to school. Our school… What is it for us? This is the place for having an education and meeting with new people. Our school is the place which is impossible to forget. All our memories are with it. Its like our second home where the head teacher is our mother, the principal is our father, the teachers are our relatives and the classmates are our sisters and brothers. So we are the family. When a person grows up he remembers his school with goodness and pride because he has taught here. And thats why we have decided to get to know our school and its people. We also would like to make out an English school and to know more about it.
Theme: My school The School is always an important stage in the life of each person. In our memories the most important events remain forever from the school life, atmosphere of the heat and comfort in school walls, teachers kindness and longing to send their own knowledge to every pupil. With heights of the lived years you start understanding what the school gave and taught us. You understand that you had the most wonderful and exciting years in your life. Undoubtedly, that deep and solid knowledge, which pupils had here were a big handhold in their life. The aim The aim of the work is to get to know more about our Grammar School 5. School education is a first page of the great book of the knowledge. The person is really beautiful when his inner world becomes richer and fuller every day. The cognition of the laws of the nature, art, cultures of mankind enriches the internal contents of everyone. Everyone make sure that it is very emotional, heat, and peacefully at school. There is the unity between teachers and children. The school inculcates the active life position and gives the good and strong knowledge. Hypothesis: Hypothesis: if you study at school you have know everything about it.
Tasks: Tasks: to investigate the situation, to analyze the questionnaire, to learn more about people at school, to compare English and Russian school, to sum up given information. Methods: Methods: a search and close study of reference books, investigation, systematization, comparative analysis, questionnaire. The object of our research The object of our research is our Grammar school and English General School. The subjects of our research The subjects of our research are the teachers, the history, the subjects, and pupils. The theoretical significance The theoretical significance its really useful and necessary to know a lot about your native school. It also presents the short contents of the history of the Grammar school #5 and abroad. In this part of the work I consider the differences between Russian and England schools. I compare the school in Kent and in Norilsk and answer the main question for nowadays if our school needs to be remembered. The practical significance The practical significance acquaints the reader with the results of the survey on revealing the movement of the contemporary students to the problem of the school. My work may be useful at English and History lessons. My research paper may be value for pupils, teachers, guides, and parents.
THE HISTORY OF GRAMMAR SCHOOL #5 school 5 The first time pupils have crossed a threshold of a new school 5 on the first of September in The school endures a rebirth. It is a fine, and modern building. And persons of the teachers who have met children on a threshold of school familiar since the childhood. There was an orchestra under the direction of E.V.Petrov. He was the constant prize-winner of all competitions, the organizer of school evenings. A.M.Zarh was the leader of this club – the young historian who has appeared at school. Then the teachers began to do the conferences which are called in pedagogic as active methods of training. When you remember the school, certainly, you remember people who were studying with you. Unfortunately, time is relentless, many of people are not present, and not only in a city …

It was a good chance to show that you are a sculptor or a director of the placing. The school had a lot of diplomas and readings and writings. As for the relation between pupils and teachers of that time, we can say with confidence that children concerned with awe and boundless respect to all teachers. And, honestly to say, children were going to school with a great pleasure.

Pishcherenko Alexandra Semyonovna I have been working at school #5 for 22 years! I think I have the right to say that the best years of my life have passed in honest work for what I have received a roll of readings and writings and 2 medals. From the height of the lived years I consider that my life has taken a place. I am a happy person.

Music Physics Economics Geography To be a teacher is not only to go to school every day, listen to the pupils, put marks or to have conferences but it is also to have a lot of fun when you teach pupils.
GRAMMAR SCHOOL NOWADAYS In 2007 our school was united with the comprehensive school # 44. So, now we have two buildings: Veteranov Street, 17 and Bogdana Khmelnitskogo Street, 12. Our schools are four-storied buildings. They are very beautiful and comfortable. We have got modern equipment almost in every classroom. This year the principle decided to mount cameras at our halls and the staff can see what happens while breaks. All teachers are on duty while breaks and they keep order. In general our school has some adventures in studying: linguistics, mathematics, economics, chemistry and biology. Our students have a high level of learning skills.
The school librarians are Vorontsova Svetlana Nikolaevna and Denisova Galina Mihailovna. They are well-educated persons and every question is a long story in their answering. The headmistress of our school is Skopova Galina Nikolaevna. She is very kind, literate, responsive, polite, tactful, and attentive person. Natalie Andreevna, the secretary, helps her. By the way, she is a very well brought up person and when you need something she always help you, be sure!
SCHOOL CANTEEN There is a canteen in the first block of our favorite school. It is very beautiful and bright. It has a lot of flowers on window- sills and posters on the walls. There are several dinner-tables for the pupils. The tables are always clean and smell rather good. You can always see a menu for today and for tomorrow which is on the wall in a special place for it.
The second block has a canteen too. Many cookers work under preparing of tasty food. The master chief is Helen. She gives tasks for her helpers and every break they lay the tables twice or three times a day. If you want something special you can buy a chocolate, a bun and different juices at the counter with a pleasure price. Many cookers cook breakfasts, dinners, and suppers for us. We have a different menu every day and if values according to the rules.
All pupils follow this rule. There is no certain school uniform in our Grammar school, but pupils follow an official style. Modern teenagers for the most part are totally against it. The case with parents and teachers is the reverse they advocate the introduction of this rule at schools. As I study at Grammar school I must follow grammar style of clothes. Usually it is a skirt, a blouse and shoes for girls and a suit, a tie, trousers and a shirt for boys. A SCHOOL UNIFORM
SCHOOL AT THE HOSPITAL School in hospital! What is it?! There are lots of questions when we can hear such combination of the words. For the successful organization of educational process and construction of the technique most adapted for hospital conditions it is necessary not only desire of the teacher to help pupil, but desire of the pupil to study. More than 25 years this school has been working in Norilsk on the basis of Children's hospital and hospital in a small town of Norilsk, and now we have such school in Oganer. Its really a miracle to be educated individually TECHNICAL STAFF What school can be without the technical personnel? They are very important for all surroundings. They wash, clean, tidy and sweep. So, they do everything our studying was in clean and order. Every day the guard does an inspection of the school. He controls the security of pupils and personnel. If something wrong he tries to correct the problem or call the emergency.
OUR ACHIEVEMENTS There are many study groups at our school, where every child can accept participation. It is a section of basketball, volleyball; dances, chess, and art. The leaders of sections are professional, they can always help and prompt you what to do in order to get success. We were awarded not once in every of these categories and our cups can confirm it.
ENGLISH SCHOOL IN KENT, MARGATE TOWN Margate is a seaside town within the Thanet district of East Kent, England. It lies 38.1 miles east- northeast of Maidstone. Margate has a population of 40,386 people. Daniel Campbell, Commissioner of Public Works, Michael Becker, Mayor & Commissioner of Revenue & Finance, Maury Blumberg, Commissioner of Public Safety are always the main persons in this city.
Salmestone School is situated on the outskirts of Margate town centre. The majority of the children live close to the school. They are a two form entry school with fifteen classes, two in each year group, and a nursery. The school is organized into Foundation, KS1 and KS2 departments. There is a Deputy Head teacher.
Cooked school meals are available daily in line with Government Healthy School legislation. The prices of these do change from time to time and the current price is available for the school office. UNIFORM AT SCHOOL The school has a school uniform at Salmestone which the administration encourages children to wear at all times. The school color is royal blue and the uniform for boys is grey trousers, white polo shirt, and Royal blue school sweatshirt. As for girls it is navy or grey skirt, pinafore or trousers; white polo shirt, and Royal blue school sweatshirt or cardigan. MEDICINE AT SCHOOL If the child is receiving medication from the family doctor it is likely that they will be unfit to attend school. Prescribed medicines are not given to children in school other than by special arrangements. A School Medicine Record form must be completed and only medication needing to be taken 4 times or more a day will be administered. HEALTH The Margate City Board of Education believes that good health is vital to success learning. SAFETY The school must inform the board when the hazardous substances may be used when children are present, and the board shall determine if an emergency situation exists and such use is warranted. In the conclusion Id like to say that every school needs to be famous and knowable. The problem is very deep in our generation. They dont want to know their past, present and future, they want to know nothing. Many teenagers are interested in their school, moreover, they know lots about it and I am proud about it. If people are interested in their history more, they will help to save it. Im sure that in the future our students will tell their children about Grammar school #5 not only the title but much more information. They will be proud of it and their children will be proud of their parents too.
INTERROGATION. CHILDRENS KNOWLEDGES ABOUT GRAMMAR SCHOOL #5 In our experiment we decided to get to know what children know about their native Grammar school #5. We made a survey among the children at the age of 10 – 14. According to our experiment we can say with confidence that all teachers are loved by our students. The school canteen is rather good, not good and good at all for pupils in the same parts. As for childrens uniform at school, we can see that opinions are divided into two groups. The timetable is good and bad at the same time. The mounting of our school likes almost everyone because it is really great. We decorate the school with posters and flowers. As for the question who is the strictest teacher, students think that every teacher is kind and strict at the same time. Im sure teachers not only teach us but they love us because there is no way to be a good teacher if you dont love children at all.

In the conclusion Id like to stress that having made this experiment, on the one hand, it proves that the pupils know not enough about their native school. I think they have to be more informed about it and, of course, they must be interested in it themselves. On the other hand, I can see that a lot of people know about Grammar school #5 such things that not every adult knows. So, Im sure that in the future every person will find and learn something interesting from the story of his native school and will tell about it with the pride.
CONCLUSION you Having analyzed all facts we came to the conclusion that many pupils go to school, but know about it not enough. It is confirmed with our researches. The school gives knowledges to the person, and, it is impossible to disagree, when you tell about school, it gives one the creeps. I have learnt a lot of information about my favorite Grammar school and now I can tell with confidence that Ill never forget my school, my favorite teachers and my classmates. The hypothesis is not confirmed because it is impossible to know everything about the place where you are studying or working. Fortunately, there is another way to solve this problem and I think that you neednt to know a lot but you have to know where to find something you really need. I think that this work is very useful for me. Im planning to continue to collect the information about Grammar school #5, its events, flights and falls to be a well-informed person.
