Transylvania is a stunningly beautiful region, where the mountains are replaced by fields and mountains again, but already absolutely other. Here at every step can find fabulous castles, singing Gypsies, Gothic cathedrals and medieval town with cobblestone streets.
Currently, the core of Transylvania are nine areas of modern Romania.
Dracula-the popular hero of the «vampire» Romanov - the main character lives in Transylvania. There has been speculation that the prototype Dracula was a real historical figure of Vlad III Tepes (Dracula).
The ruler of Transylvania was Gabor Bathory- brother of the bloodiest known serial killer - Hungarian Countess Elizabeth Bathory has deprived of life, according to different data, from 30 up to 650 girls.
