19 Grammar rules part 2 В английском языке одушевленные существительные имеют два падежа: общий и притяжательный. Последний показывает, кому принадлежит та или иная вещь. Where is Toms bike? – Где велосипед Тома? bike – общий падеж Toms – притяжательный падеж Существительные в единственном числе образуют притяжательный падеж при помощи апострофа и окончания –s: the boys ball – мяч мальчика the girls game – игра девочки Существительным во множественном числе достаточно просто поставить апостроф: the boys ball – мяч мальчиков the girls game – игра девочек Таким образом, эти две формы на слух друг от друга не отличаются. Если же существительное во множественном числе не имеет окончания –s, то, как и существительному в единственном числе, ему требуется апостроф и окончание –s. the childrens bike – велосипед детей При упоминании двух и более имен, связанных словом and, s ставится после последнего имени. 21 Grammar rules part 1 1. Present Simple употребляется для обозначения обычного действия или состояния в настоящем времени. В утвердительном предложении смысловой глагол употребляется в первой форме без частицы to то есть в той форме, что дана в словаре. Лишь тогда, когда подлежащее выражено местоимением he, she, it или словом, которое можно заменить этими местоимениями, глагол имеет форму V 1 + s.
