PROJECT: ECO PROBLEMS IN MY HOME VILLAGE performed by the pupils of the 7 th forms of MBEI Verhopenskaya Abrosimov comprehensive school Teacher: Kiryaeva V.I.

From our Reader English 7 we have learnt that there are 7 main ecological problems on the Earth: Air pollutionAir pollution Water pollutionWater pollution DeforestationDeforestation Endangered animalsEndangered animals RecyclingRecycling The ozone layerThe ozone layer Greenhouse effectGreenhouse effect

We decided to find out with the help of questioning What main ecological problems the Verhopenjers are concerned about.

The given questioning shows that the Verhopenjers point out three main ecological problems: A lot of litter Water Pollution Air pollution

We hold questioning on these problems and made Surveys on the Environment.

These results show us the bad availability of the information to the population of Verhopenje. Due to economic condition of our people the main source of information is a newspaper and TV.

We have studied the issues of Smena from September till December.

And we have found only three articles about ecology ( , , ).

We studied the timetable of TV programes in Smena and found out the following: 13 programes a week;13 programes a week; 9 programes are too early or late.9 programes are too early or late. So we have proved the bad availability of the information to the population of Verhopenje.

We decided to show pupils a cartoon Down in the Dumps to explain the word recycling

The necessary steps how to save nature and ourselves are presented in our compositions.
