It is located on the southeast of our Republic. At first it was a very small settlement. But it was growing and developing because of rich sources of oil.

There are many beautiful places in the world. We would like to visit some of them, to see our own eyes those ones which we have read or heard about. But we completely agree with an English proverb "There is no place like home", because we also have a birthplace and we are proud of it

But there is a problem – a lot of young people leave our settlement looking for a job

The Goal of the Research is: to show the beauties and to give brief information about Dzhalil, to pay attention of the people to our wonderful place

The actuality of this work causes no doubts that our generation must save our land, otherwise our settlement will die

The subject is: the sights, nature, local holiday, hospitality, main job

The object is: Dzhalil

The tasks are: To find information about our settlement; To analyze the facts; To translate obtained information into English; To make multi-media presentation

Our hypothesis: many people go away from our settlement, because Dzhalil hasnt supermarkets, restaurants, cafes and the most important - there are no enough jobs for our citizens

Methods: Searching and discovering information; Using archival files; Analyzing and generalizing obtained information; Translating into English; Taking pictures; Using computer technologies; Interviewing

Dzhalil is the most beautiful settlement in Tatarstan. But it`s a pity that the young generation tries to leave the Motherland

Its name is Dzhalil in honour of the great Tatar poet Musa Dzhalil. We have a monument which commemorates the Tatar poet –hero Musa Dzhalil, w ho displayed the highest qualities of his people during the Second World War. In Berlin Moabite Prison, w here he was confined for anti –fascist activities, a s he awaited his inevitable execution he wrote the immortal poems which make up the anthology The Moabite Notebooks translated into many languages

Dzhalil has many places to visit. One of them is a well –known museum of labor fame in the Palace of Culture

These are our bright and picturesque springs.

Dzhalil is surrounded by the beautiful nature: thick woods, colourful meadows, splendid landscapes. The residents of Dzhalil are very proud of the ecological situation, that is kept around our motherland.

Dzhalil sanatorium is since 1976 one of the symbols of the settlement. Our sanatorium offers: double bedrooms, which are equipped with TV, phone, refrigerator, shower and toilet, delicious three meals a day

Just two minutes to walk from building and you are in the well –equipped Sport Complex with a swimming –pool and Sport Palace

There are three schools in our settlement. They are more than schools The science temple was erected here. Bring all your children into them, To get the good fruit of science!

Early in the summer here comes the time of Sabautui: a feast of dreams and hopes, of strength and dexterity, of songs and dances

Oil is the wealth of the settlement. "Black gold" is always been, and still remain the primary source of Dzhalil wealth

Nevertheless, the Mother Nature is always wiser than people. It never gives all its riches right away. Fortunately, there still are some reserves remaining in the bowels of the earth in Dzhalil

Dzhalil is nothing like the images of the dark oil hell. It stands out with clear streams of natural springs, and with the bright green of preserved birch groves. Dzhalil is worth seeing because of the combination of culture, people and nature. We have fallen in love with the green cradle of ours. How fair you are, my native land!

The best feature of our people is hospitality. If someone, acquaintance of yours, invites you to the settlement you may know in advance that the next day you will feel sick from food and gluttony
