Ребята, давайте вспомним основные веxи жизни Шекспира и его творчества. Lets recollect the main landmarks of Shakespeares life and creative work. William Shakespeare was born in 1564 and died in 1616.He was an English writer of plays, one of the most famous ever.Among the most famous of yis plays are the tragedies of Romeo and Juliet,Julius Caesar,Hamlet, Othello, King Lear, Macbeth, the comedies of A Midsummer Nights Dream,The Merchant of Venice, and Twelfth Night, and the historical plays Richard III and Henry V. Many well-known expressions come from Shakespear. He also wrote some very good poetry, especially the Sonnets, and worked as an actor at the Globe Theatre in London.

А почему Шекспир был так знаменит? Why was he so famous? Perhaps some may wonder why Shakespear has won fame as one of the worlds greatest poets. It would be very difficult to give a brief explanation. But open any of his plays and read and youll immedietely see why he has earned this praise. For one thing, when shakespeare has said a thing, it seems impossible that it could be said in a better way. А о чём его исторические пьесы? What are his historical plays about? His historic works tell the stories of the early English kings: of poor, weak Richad II, clever Henry IV, and brave Henry V.Others tell the tragic stories of the ancient world: the murder of Julius Caesar; Mark Antony, who lost an empire through his own weakness and foolish actions.
