The Park of Tropical Butterflies

A new park of tropical butterflies has recently opened in Novosibirsk. Here they are born and live all their lives, sometimes really not for long. Новый парк тропических бабочек недавно открылся в Новосибирске. Здесь они рождаются и, живут всю их жизнь, иногда действительно не долгое время.

The greatest moth in the world like Atakus the Atlas or the Prince of Darkness can sit down on your shoulder here. This butterfly doesn't even have a proboscis to eat. Its life span is only several days. It lives not for the sake of meal, but for the sake of love. Its general purpose of existing is to produce the posterity. Svetlana Solovjeva, the guide of the park of living butterflies, told: «The Female specimen sits down and starts extending pheromones to some kilometers wide. And the male feels it with his fluffy short tendrils, then he flies in search of his fine half». И самец чует это своими пушистыми короткими усиками, потом летит в поисках своей прекрасной половинки».

The heart of the park is a special cage - insectarium. This is the place where the butterflies are born. Сердце парка - специальная клетка - инсектарий. Это - место, где бабочки рождаются.

Светлана Соловева говорит: «Теперь коконы висят здесь, там происходит сложная работа. Тело гусеницы полностью исчезает, оно рассасывается бабочкой, кроме крови и нервной системы.
