The user can hear the 8 extended ring tones by cycling through the 8 personalized ringing choices under the A menu/Options and Settings/Screen and Sound Options. Choice saved in PPM. Edit the Ringtone.xls file to customize the ring tones for internal, external, priority and intercom calls. Fill in values for tones, duration and cadence. file name corresponds to an xml file name used to set the extended ring tone in the settings file. The XML file will be generated with a default name or name specified by the administrator e.g., name.xml. phone must be rebooted to include new ring tones in the phone. Eight xml files can be created and set. The 8 xml ring tones ( 8 xml files) correspond to 8 personalized ringer choices the user has under the A menu. Once complete press the Generate XML button to create a customized xml file.
