W. Shakespeare was one of the greatest and famous writers in the world. Many people know and like his works but many facts of his life are still unknown. W. Shakespeare was born in a small English town, Stratford-on Avon. Shakespeares father was a prosperous glove maker and his mother came from a family of landowners. He received his education at Grammar school. While studying at school, he didnt have free time but he liked to go to the forest and the river Avon. In 1582, at the age of 18 he married Anne Hathaway. Later they had three children. Then the life became intolerable for William and he decided to go to London and began a career of an actor. He was a part-owner of The Globe Theatre. Shakespeare wrote 37 plays, comedies, poems, sonnets and tragedies. One of the famous tragedies is Romeo and Juliet. Romeo and Juliet is often called an optimistic tragedy. Although the main characters both die, their death brings two families together.
