Apart from the curing of components, the preforming, as a preliminary step, e.g. for RTM or vacuum infusion processes, puts enormous requirements on the manufacturing technology. Preforming requires a cyclical warming and cooling of the molds. These necessary heatable molds are made by qpoint from heat-resistant resin systems and locally adapted textile carbon fiber heating structures as a carbon fiber mold.
