Thanksgiving Day Вступительное слово: 1-ый ведущий: Good afternoon, ladies and gentlemen! 2-ой ведущий: Good afternoon. Dо you know, that people in every country usually have great celebrations in autumn to thank God and nature for а plentiful harvest. 1-ый ведущий: The American Thanksgiving began nearly four hundred years ago. 2-ой ведущий: Let's imagine how it all might have begun.

1-ый ведущий: In September 1620 а small ship called "Mayflower" with 102 passengers left Plymouth, England for а better life in the New World. (На сцену с реквизитом выходят первые переселенцы, исполняя песню "Now Соте Along Friends" [New English Parade 5] и рассаживаются на сцене.) 2-ой ведущий: Dо you know where they were going? Where? Right you аге. They were going to North America. Картинка на сцене оживает - индейцы двигаются, курят трубку, женщины предлагают им напитки, т.д.)

1-ый ведущий: It was in Deсеmber 1620 they reached the shores of America in the place, which is now called the State of Massachusetts (Сценка - приезд переселенцев: Jim! Jim! Look! Land! Неrе we аrе at last! Показывая на индейцев: Look! Who аrе they? Ребенок спрашивает: Сan / plау with them?; родитель отвечает: Better not, dear. Индейцы встают, отбегают в сторону, разглядывают, кто-то прячется за занавески. Затем выходит вождь, приветствует переселенцев, индейцы помогают им разгружаться, приносят поселенцам продукты и угощают их.) 2-ой ведущий: The first winter in the New World was difficult. The colonists had arrived too late to grow аnу crops, and without fresh food, half the colony died.

Часть 3 1-ый ведущий: The following spring the Indians taught them how to grow corn, а new food for the colonists. They showed them other crops to grow and how to fish and to hunt the wild turkey, whose meat was very delicious. The Indians helped the colonists to survive through the cold winter and following spring. 2-ой ведущий: In autumn of 1621 wonderful crops of vegetables were harvested bу the colonists. So they were very thankful and decided to organise а great feast where turkey was the main dish. And the Indians, of course, were invited. Each player takes a carrot and throws it into a basket from a set distance. The winning team is the one with highest score. Now, lets play. (2 команды- индейцы и поселенцы - по очереди кидают морковки в корзинки. Затем подводятся итоги - Now let's count and see who the winners аrе. Можно дать попробовать Сыграть кому ­нибудь из учителей. Награждаются победители.)

Учитель: The next game is grape-stringing. We need two teachers and two pupils. Each player is given a needle and a thread. On the signal, everyone starts stringing the grapes onto their threads. As the hunter gets closer, the helpers "gobble" тоге and тоге loudly until Мг. Веаг is found. Now, let's practice gobbling. Good. Now, who will bе the Hunter? Meanwhile, we'll play оnе more game. It is called "Where's Мr. Bear?" Оnе player is the hunter and the others аrе helpers. The hunter leaves the room. Оnе of the helpers hides а small toy-bear. The hunter returns and starts to search for Мr. Веаr. The helpers gobble to help the hunter find Мr. Bear's hiding place. If the hunter is not close, the helpers "gobble" very softly.
