3 B IOGRAPHY Great Russian poet (his real surname Shenshin), the corresponding member of Petersburg Academy of Sciences (1886). Saturated concrete signs of nature poetry, fleeting moods of the human soul, musicality, "Evening Lights" (collections of 1 - 4, ). Many of his poems were set to music.

4 B IRTH He was born in October or in November, in the village Novoselki Orel. His father was a wealthy landowner A. Shenshin, his mother was Charlotte N.C. Fet, who came from Germany. 7 E DUCATION. T HE FIRST EXPERIMENTS. M ILITARY SERVICE Afanasius Fet received the verbal department of Moscow University; – studied at Moscow University; 1840 – published the first collection of poems, Afanasius Fet "lyrical pantheon." The book has been approved by V.G. Belinsky. Around the same time the poet's "blessing" of the literary work of Nikolai Gogol, who said of him: "It is an undoubted talent." 13 W HAT A MYSTERY SHROUDED THE DEATH OF F ET ? The first version: champagne was killed him. Shortly before the tragic denouement the poet was ill with bilateral pneumonia.
