5 The Federal Assembly & The President & The courts The Federal Assembly is the legislative branch of power. The President is involved in the work of the legislative and executive branches of power. The Supreme court and the Constitutional court of the Russian Federation are judicial branches of power.

6 The Responsibilities of each branch The Duma is responsible for passing laws. If the Duma doesnt agree with the presidents suggestions 3 times running he can dissolve it. The Federal Assembly can pass laws over the President veto, by 2/3 majority.
