2 Household appliances Modern household has a lot of appliances. They are: a dishwasher, a microwave oven, an electric grill, a cordless phone, a home theatre and many others. They make our life easier, economize our time and save energy. Undoubtedly all these things are helpful because they are automatic, compact, easy to operate and mobile.
3 One of the greatest achievement of the last years has definitely been the invention of the car. Theyve completely changed our lives. People had to walk or catch the bus, which was inconvenient. Things like getting home from work or going shopping took much longer so people had less time for other things. The invention of cars have meant that we have more time for leisure and that we can go farther, to more interesting places. You can easily spend the weekend in the countryside a hundred miles away. In the past people travelled much less and they couldnt go to so many exciting places… Nowadays, thanks to the car, they can go all over the world and have a much wider experience of life. People who lived in remote places were very isolated, they didnt have contact with the outside world, so society was less mixed and open. These days with the help of cars the way to work is shorter – you can work in the city and live in the countryside, people can travel on business from town to town more, so people have more opportunities and have more contact with people from other places.

The personal computer can help the man to solve a lot of problems dealing with storing and processing information, communication and education. Computerized models of teaching materials studied allow the students to see the results of this instruction on a display screen, make understanding of the material very simple and make the development of a creative approach in teaching and learning easier and more productive. The application of electronics allows to have contents of books, magazines fed into the computer memory, where this is analyzed, arranged in a certain order and produced on requests as a printed computer programme.
