I started playing volleyball when I was seven years old, my mom taught me during summer vacations. She used to play it back in high school, and ever since she taught me, it has been my passion. I think that for every athlete regarding the sport they play there are certain things that makes their sport special. I fell in love with volleyball the second I got in the court, everything about it makes it amazing. However, I believe the best gift the sport has given me are the friendships and memories that will last forever. Every game is a new experience, and every team has different chacteristics were you learn from. There are several reasons why volleyball is my favorite sport, here are my three main reasons of why I love volleyball and I recommend all of you to play it!

Truth be told, Volleyball is a famous Olympic sport known worldwide. It may not be as famous as Soccer or Basketball but this sport gets much recognition from both local and international scenes. Many games are shown frequently on various sports channels on TV such as Balls, ESPN, and Star Sports. Despite the sports overall popularity, sadly Volleyball never really had a marvelous reputation for me back in high school. Oftentimes, this sport would be regarded as the gay sport since majority of our gay classmates were fond of this sport. Im not trying to stereotype, nor am I trying to be mean or sexist. Theres nothing wrong with being gay, but Volleyball as a sport shouldnt be viewed this way. Sports are there for everyone to enjoy, we should never limit the people who play it. Perhaps this is a common misconception among the youth and could be a reason why this sport isnt as well loved compared to the others. Looking back, I shouldnt have been too absorbed with the sports that I only knew. If I wasnt so judgmental and more open minded instead, maybe I would have been good at another sport today.

Sport plays an important role in my life. It gives me much pleasure and many moments of joy. I am fond of volleyball and gymnastic. You should control your body very well if you want to have a nice moving. And you should apply great effort at every coaching. Its pity that I am not doing it? But I remember some of the elements. Now I engage in volleyball. Its an interesting kind of sport. I like volleyball. I can play volleyball all the time and never get tired of it. The best thing I learned during volleyball-time is how to get on well with others, how to cooperate with my team member, and how to behave as an athlete. Volleyball is my favorite sport. It is very intense, and I love playing it.
