(Indirect Speech).

He said, Shut the door, Ann. He told Ann to shut the door. He said to us, Go there at once! He told us to go there at once. Или He ordered us to go there at once. I said to Bob, Open the window, please. I asked Bob to open the window.

В косвенной речи после глаголов to tell, to order, to ask всегда следует лицо (существительное или местоимение), которому адресовано приказание (просьба ), а затем инфинитив. The woman said to the boy, Dont cry. The woman told ( asked, ordered ) the boy not to cry.

Для выражения просьбы или команды в косвенной речи часто употребляются глаголы: to beg - просить, умолять to urge - настаивать to remind - напоминать to warn - предостерегать, предупреждать to advise - советовать to recommend - рекомендовать to invite - приглашать She said, Please help me. She begged them (us) to help her.
