1 Сценарий итогового занятия по темеEco Problems в 9 классе
2 Задачи урока: контроль устной речи по теме; развитие умений устной (монологической и диалогической) речи; развитие памяти, умения обобщать, делать выводы; формирование экологической грамотности, чувства любви к природе и ответственности за ее сохранение.
3 К уроку были подготовлены: стенгазета на экологические темы, рисунки с экологическими знаками, проспекты зоопарков штата Калифорнии США, таблички с надписями Mass Media, Wildlife specialists. Учащиеся объединяются в две группы и занимают места согласно табличкам: «Специалисты-экологи» и «Журналисты». Урок начинается со вступительного слова: Good afternoon. This lesson is the last one on the topic Eco Problem. You have to discuss these problems and show what way we can help. At the end of the lesson you should answer the question: Can you help to save the planet? Now lets begin.
4 Для начала проводится разминка (warming up) T: First, Id like to ask you what ecological problems do you know about? PP: Acid rain, deforestation, polluted water, polluted air, the greenhouse effect… T: But what is the most important problem? What do you think about it? P1: There are a lot of ecological problems not only in Russia but in the whole world. To me, the most important ecological problem is pollution. T: But people have always polluted their countries. Some years ago it was not a serious problem. But now it has become more serious. What are the reasons for it? PP: (варианты ответов) I think people throw away too much litter. There is a lot of litter everywhere. Different kinds of transport make this problem serious. Many factories dont recycle. They produce goods and a lot of litter. In my opinion we know the rules but dont remember them when we go hiking or fishing or just walking in the forest. Factories and cars pollute the air with harmful gases. T: Oh, I see you can give us many reasons. Thank you. Now try to use our new words and phrases in short dialogues. Ask each other if you are worried about environmental problems. Use the phrases on the blackboard.
5 На доске написаны речевые клише, которые можно использовать в ответах: Im worried/ Im afraid of/ Are you worried…?/ Do you find…? PP: (работа в парах) – Are you worried about litter? – Yes, Im worried when people throw litter away. There is a lot of litter around. – Do you find the situation in our forests worrying? – Im afraid of deforestation. It kills lots of animals and birds. – Are you worried about air pollution? – Of course, I find the problem of dangerous gases very worrying. T: Thank you very much. I think you are ready for a discussion. На этом этапе разминки заканчивается и начинается основная часть урока. Где ученики выступают с подготовленными заранее сообщениями и отвечают на вопросы одноклассников.
6 T: We have decided to hold this lesson as a press-conference. To the right we have some wildlife specialists. To the left there are mass media reporters. Now introduce yourselves. Please, specialists first. Далее каждый учащийся представляет себя как специалиста или репортера, указывая ту область деятельности, которой он занимается. My name is Evgeny. Im an animal specialist. I work at the Institute of environmental research. Im interested in endangered animals. My name is Helen. I like animals and want to take care of them. So, I work for the Animal Protection Service. Very often I visit different Zoos and National Parks to see how animals are protected there. My name is Olga. Im a reporter for the magazine Eco news. Id like to know about ecological problems in our region. T: I see that our mass media reporters have a lot of questions. But first allow our specialists to speak and theyll tell us about their work. After that you may ask them any questions you want.
7 Ответ по теме: Protecting animals in the USA I recently visited Yellowstone National Park in the USA. Its the oldest and most famous park. It includes large areas of Montana, Wyoming and Idaho. This territory is for animals, birds, fish and tourists. There animals are not killed but protected from danger. Then I visited San Diego Zoo. There are over 4 thousand rare animals and birds on 100 acres of fields and gardens. We had a day of fun and saw interesting and unusual animals such as gorillas, okapis and polar bears. We also visited Shamu. It is a sea world park in California. We were told about sea animals and fish and their protection. In Shamu there are a lot of educational programmes to enjoy and discover the way to protect aquatic life. We learnt a lot about it. Here you can see some leaflets. They are colorful and printed on recycled paper.

9 В конце урока ученикам предлагается ответить на несколько основных вопросов. T: At the end of the lesson Id like to ask you the most important question of our press-conference: Can we help to save the planet? What should we do to help our planet? What advice can you give? Use the structures (эти структуры могут быть написаны на доске): We should + V1 We shouldnt + V2
10 PP: (варианты ответов) We should help animals. We should care for wildlife. We should recycle paper, cans and glass. We shouldnt throw away litter. We shouldnt damage birds nests. We shouldnt let fires burn in the forest. T: Thank you. Our discussion is over. Im sure that you are real friends of our planet. Its very important to save it for all forms of life.
11 На дом предлагается составить рассказ или диалог о своих предложениях по улучшению экологической ситуации на планете. Думается, что такие уроки не только помогают учащимся овладеть очередной порцией знаний по английскому языку, но и учат бережному отношению к природе.
